17-17349 On 6/10/17 Husam Azmi Simaan, 50 of Tallahassee was arrested and charged with Retail Theft.

During the investigation of a reported theft deputies made contact with the business and defendant. The report states the defendant placed a pair of glasses in his pocket and passed all points of sale without intention of paying for item. The defendant admitted to a moment of stupidity and was placed in custody.

Simaan was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.




17-17434 On 6/11/17 Randall J D Wild, 23 of Branford was arrested and charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Controlled Substance: Methamphetamine.

During a routine traffic stop for an obscure tag contact was made with the occupants of the vehicle. It was determined the passenger, Wild, had an active warrant. A search of the vehicle yielded a backpack which contained a smoking device with residue in it. A field test of the substance tested positive for methamphetamine. The defendant admitted the backpack was his but not the smoking device.

Wild was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.




17-17919 On 6/16/174 Rebecca Perry, 40 of Live Oak was arrested and charged with Possession of Amphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Criminal Michief.

While on routine patrol deputies observed the defendant painting on a state owned bridge at Suwannee Springs. The report states contact was made with the defendant who admitted she had been painting on the bridge for several years. She consented to a search of her vehicle where a book bag was found containing numerous items and residue associated with drug activity. A field test resulted in a positive indication for amphetamine. 

Perry was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.




17-17930 On 6/16/17 Ricardo Hernandez, 20 of O'Brien was arrested and charged with Grand Theft Auto.

During the investigation of a reported stolen truck the report states the defendant took a work truck without permission from the victim's place of business and had not intended to return the vehicle until he was arrested for another charge in an adjoining county.

Hernandez was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.



17-18058 On James Ryan Conway, 36 of Live Oak was arrested and charged with Battery Domestic Violence. 

During the investigation of a reported altercation deputies made contact with the involved parties. The report states the defendant and victim were involved in a verbal altercation when it escalated into a physical altercation. The victim reported the defendant struck her in the bakc of the head then grabbed a tablet and hit her with it.

Conway was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.



17-18062 On 6/17/17 Melissa Ann  Dover, 36, of Live Oak was arrested and charged with Felony Retail Theft and Trespass After Warning.

During the investigation of a reported theft deputies made contact with security. The report states the defendant entered the store and obtained and concealed items passing all points of sale without attempting to pay for items. The total value of the recovered items was $177.41. The report also states the defendant had been trespassed from the business and had been convicted two or more times prior to this arrest.

Dover was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.



17-18111 On 6/17/17 Ethan Pierce Buchanan, 28 of Branford was arrested and charged with Battery Domestic Violence.

During a reported altercation the report states the defendant shoved and struck the victim several times causing minor injuries and abrasions. 

Buchanan was transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.




17-18489 On 6/21/17 Marjie Norato, 51, of Live Oak was arrested and charged with Trespass and Criminal Mischief.

During the investigation of a reported incident deputies made contact with the victim. The report states the defendant called the victim and advised she was coming to his residence to do harm. It further states the victim watched the defendant stab his tires with a knife and then fled. Two other witnesses observed her actions. The value of damage to tires was $300.00.

Norato was transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.




17-18659 On 6/23/17 Richard Andrew Zinsli, 34 of Lake Butler was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault w/ Deadly Weapon (Domestic Violence), Possession of Firearm by Convicted Felon and Simple Battery Domestic Violence. 

During the investigation of a reported domestic incident deputies made contact with the victim. The report states the defendant struck the victim during a verbal argument. He further produced a gun and threatened the shoot the victim if she did not get out of the car, kicking her when she was exiting the vehicle. The defendant further left the victim on the side of the road and returned a short time later driving towards the victim and swerving causing her to jump out of the path of the vehicle to avoid being hit. 

Zinsli was transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.
